Welcome to my Cloud Resume!
I'm Austin Wright, and I am seeking a fully remote role in Information Technology.
I've created this website as a comprehensive online resume, utilizing secure, serverless infrastructure through AWS services like Lambda, S3, Route 53, and API Gateway.
The design ensures every data transaction is encrypted via AWS CloudFront with SSL certificates managed by AWS Certificate Manager and is integrated with meticulous user and role management with IAM.

This 'Cloud Technologies' section shows all of the technologies utilized in this website's architecture. Therefore the following description applies to this website as a whole:
This page leverages a cloud-based deployment workflow, initiated through local Git operations. Upon committing and pushing changes, the process seamlessly updates AWS CodeCommit, activating an AWS CodePipeline. This pipeline orchestrates the synchronization of new content to an Amazon S3 bucket. Subsequently, a Lambda function is triggered, executing a Python script designed to invalidate CloudFront's cache. This automation guarantees that users always access the most current version of the site, directly from the cloud, ensuring an optimal and up-to-date browsing experience.
The following cloud technologies have been utilized in the creation and presentation of this website.
Amazon Cloudfront
Amazon Route 53
Amazon API Gateway
AWS Code Commit
AWS CodePipeline
Amazon S3
Amazon Simple Email Service
AWS Cloudwatch
Amazon EventBridge
AWS Certificate Manager
IAM
AWS Lambda
This 'Edge Location Map' section shows the AWS Edge locations used to serve users this website. A Lambda function searches CloudWatch Logs for Edge Location data (from CloudFront) and updates a Dynamo DB database with a visitor count from each location.
A seperate lambda function is used to generate the map using the data in the database.
The "Latest Commits" section dynamically displays the most recent updates to the website's repository, hosted on AWS Code Commit.
Every time this page is visited, it automatically triggers an API call that activates an AWS Lambda function. This function runs a specialized Python script designed to sift through AWS Cloud Watch logs originating from Code Commit activities. It processes these logs to extract the latest three commits, which are then prominently displayed on the website, ensuring you're always informed about the most current developments.
This 'Contact' section... well it's just a contact form but it is architected on AWS none the less.
When this form is submitted, an API call is made to trigger an AWS Lambda function, which utilizes a Python script to send the information submitted on the form to the Amazon Simple Email Service, which emails me.
For privacy reasons, my direct contact information and references have been omitted from this website. Please contact me via the form, or via whatever medium led you here, and I would be happy to provide these to you.
